Can anyone recommend a great Orthopedic Doctor near Los Altos, CA?

49ers team doctor, consider the best in the SF Bay Area. Everyone I know that needed surgery, particularly shoulder, went to him and was very happy with results. He is cautious, puts off surgery if possible, focuses on rehab instead.

Thanks Howard, I am actually seeing him now :) And there might be a chance that I don't need surgery. As you said, he's awesome!

Dr. Fanton repaired my shoulder after a biking accident. All three ligaments were torn (class 4 separation). I'm now eight weeks into the recovery and am VERY glad that he did the surgery. My PT confirmed this - patients from his procedures have consistently good results. Highly recommended!

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Fanton for approx. 20 years. Over the course of that time He has sustained six knee injuries from motorcycle racing ranging from minor cartilage damage to total reconstructions. Dr. Fanton has performed all his surgeries with unbelievably positive results, each time getting him back to the sports that He competed in with few limitations. Due to Dr. Fantons cutting edge approach and total professionalism to the athletically minded patient He is still able to enjoy sports activities of all kinds. We have reffered many friends to Dr Fanton. All of which were pleased with the care that they received.
