  I didn't actually get service from them but I had an emergency after-hours issue and wrote them via Yelp to see if they were available. They got back to me in a relatively short period(less than an hour) and recommended local competitors that could help as they wouldn't have a timely response. I'm giving them a 5-star review because they clearly care more about helping someone than booking every possible customer. This is how it should be and I will definitely do my best to bring them more business.

  I have to add my voice to the chorus. Shawn at Green Bear is as honest, reliable and skilled as they come. How I wish all my home projects could go this smoothly. First of all, he is the only person who returned my call (about repairing or replacing a gas log set in my fireplace). Ultimately we had him replace our existing (broken) set with a new set that I like so much better. Replacing a gas log set is a dirty business. But Shawn laid out a drop cloth, kept the mess totally contained and when he was finished, the house was spotless. ...
  Call Shawn - and even if he is scheduled out a ways, wait for him if you can. It is so worth it.

  I was told by a local HVAC outfit that my furnace was dying. Wanted a 3rd opinion from a small biz. Shawn is definitely busy this time of year. He did take the time to have an email conversation with me on my issue, and I booked him at his earliest about a week and a half out. ... Guy knows his stuff. Diaged this in minutes, Scoped my whole unit out, gave me good advice, and was $131 out-the-door. Get this guy to come out, he's worth the wait. Be proactive, preventative maintenance avoids emergency breakdowns!!

  Shawn was right on time and quickly diagnosed our furnace problem. He had the repair parts right there in his truck.
  Our furnace was back up and running in no time.
  We will definitely use Green Bear again if the need arises.

  Thank you for your hard work. My furnance is up and running again. I can hardly believe my luck finding someone who really does warrenty the installed product and their work! I will suggest Green Bear to any one needing large, or small repairs or replacements. Thanks, J Swanson.
