My daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 2 when we were stationed in Japan. When we were stationed in Virginia Beach after receiving ABA, I requested a speech therapy referral for my daughter. She had been receiving therapy there 2 times a week for the last year. When she started therapy she went from almost being non-verbal to talking. Her speech had jumped leap and bounds in the last year. Meghan Francis is her therapist, and she has been incredible. My daughter is 6 and can be stubborn, but Meghan is creative and patient enough to draw the words out of my daugter when she is being stubborn. I love the fact that Meghan has helped coax out the stubborn, smart and sweet little girl that we saw at home.
