  Zoog Von Rock is someone I've never met but he has been a huge inspiration to me. His music project Angelspit is one of the most technically impressive modern industrial acts to sit in the underground. His sound is a bombastic mix of bleeping modular synthesis, chaotic punk-infused drum machines, and controversial lyrical content. One of those bands that is too ingenious and original to appeal to the large scale audience but woefully under appreciated as a result. Angelspit songs like 'Toxic Girl' and 'Ambassador' are a torrent of precise machine kicks, guitar riffs, and aggressive synths while 'Defibrillator' shows the cheeky brilliancy on display. Everything Zoog and Angelspit touches oozes creativity from the cyberpunk clothes he designs to the eye catching album artwork and finally to other projects (Lorelei Dreaming) and remixes. If that wasn't enough, Zoog's Angelspit youtube channel also teaches music production tips, discusses modular synthesis, and reviews gear. It's a crime when a brilliant mind goes unnoticed and unappreciated which is to be expected in an underground niche scene but Zoog continues to give 100% regardless if anyone is paying attention or not. I'm paying attention Zoog, thank you for everything you do.
