Videographer
Owner and lead videographer Michael Poggenburg has been a video editor since 2005. In 2008, he moved to Seattle and co-directed an award-winning documentary film about peace and environmentalism in the Middle East. While teaching classes at 911 Seattle Media Arts Center and Northwest Film Forum, he began freelance editing and consulting for local filmmakers and production companies. He has edited several documentary films as well as material for the National Park Service, Expedia.com, the Museum of History and Industry, and other area businesses.
In 2010, he began working as the post-production supervisor at Camera One Productions in Seattle and in 2012, switched from post-production to production and bought his first video camera. In 2013, Unified Cinematic began focusing on corporate and event videography and in 2015, Michael left Camera One to focus solely on running Unified Cinematic where he continues to provide exceptionally high quality films for weddings and commercial clients. Michael was really great to work with. We needed some additional shots for a documentary film and he was able to turn around the project days before the agreed deadline. He was also very communicative through emails and phone. I would definitely recommend his service!

I was hesitant about arranging a videographer for my wedding because I tend to dislike the cheesy, melodramatic approach that many videographers seem to take with wedding videos these days. I just wanted a beautifully shot, honest portrayal of our wedding day, but didn't think it would be possible to find a wedding videographer who would do that. ...
