I took my SH 101 into LA Synth Co in the Spring of 2017 to get the SH 1oh1 mod installed. The price was absolutely fair, and the timing was as quoted (3 weeks). He also cleaned up the synth and went above and beyond just inputting a mod. I will be returning with many other synths in the future. I took my Oberheim OB-xA into Custom Vintage Keyboards in 2014. It was needing some TLC. They replaced the key bushings, cleaned up all the pots and buttons, and improved the voices. The price was higher than other synth shops, I'm sure, but the quality matched the price in my opinion. They work mostly on Rhodes, Wurlitzers, Hammonds, etc, but also do some work on analog synths. read more
