Everyone who works at Auburn Bike Company treats me like family. They are never too busy to take time for shop visitors. On multiple occasions they've opened thier doors after closing just so I could buy something like petty like a tube, lube, etc. They organize several bike demos, and arrange for free shuttles so that riders can really test out products and decide if it is really what they want. Curtis (Curty) the owner is very knowledgeable, and has a serious affection for all types of bikes. He used to be the mechanic at another local shop, and his quality of work is so good that I didn't even think twice where to get my bike overhauled once he opened his new shop. He pulls all the stops to really try to get people on quality rides. He sells your old bike for you, arranges for excellent zero interest financing, and recommends bikes that fit your budget and riding style. Derrick leads group rides, and is so friendly and humble that I'm always taken aback by how awesome his bike skills are. Thier mechanic performs work so fast that he'll retape a tubless wheel before I can even pick out a new tire. Overall it's a great shop with awesome employees. They might not carry the brand of bike I buy, but I'll rely on them for all maintenance, accessories, and friendly group rides. Just a great group of people. read more
