Owned and operated for over 30 years by Doug Adams in Stowe, Vermont.

Mr. Adams brings nearly 40 years of ski tuning and service expirence to the table. He began skiing and working in ski shops near his parent's home in Connecticut in the 1970’s. Eventually ending up in Stowe, Vermont in 1979 after attending Johnson State College. He continued working in the local Stowe ski shops till the fall of 1984 when he started Today’s Edge located on the Moutain Road in Stowe, Vermont. Today's Edge was a new ski tuning and repair service specialty shop. Based on new stongrinding ski preparition technology, one of the firsts shops of its kind in the region. Over 100,000 pairs of skis and snowboards have passed through his doors since he opened.

Along with their regular clintel Today’s Edge has done ski specialty service work for local ski distrubtors, ski racing clubs, and academy’s. He spent one summer working for Rossignol Race Ski Department in Mount Hood, Oregon. Mr. Adams spent 10 years with Skiing Magazine as a equipment tester, traveling technician, and test site coordinator in Sugarbush and Stowe, Vermont, Vail, Colorado, and Mammouth Mountain, California. Mr. Adams spent 15 years traveling the U.S. doing ski tuning clinic’s for Ski Mechanics Workshop located in Vermont and Wintersteiger Division Sports in Salt Lake City, UT. Read more
