We have five conveniently located stores that are dedicated to providing the best equipment and services for all of your winter needs. Our first and largest store is located in Henrietta NY. Our other locations include stores in Syracuse NY, Buffalo NY and our two outlet centers which are conveniently located on the way to the local mountains in Bloomfield NY and Tully NY.

We are home to two amazing programs!
1. We offer a "2 Year Guaranteed Trade-in" on ALL new and used equipment purchased from our locations! This is great for growing children and adults that love staying up-to-date on new technology.
2. We also offer a "Life-time Wax Card" with any new ski or board purchase. This can be used at any Ski Company location for a free machine wax before hitting the slopes.

    They are largest snowboard/ski store in Upstate New York for a reason. They are very reliable and knowledgeable. Put out deals and discount very frequently as well as having couple of outlet locations.

    I would give Mark and The Ski Company 10 stars if possible! I am new to the sport of skiing, I originally trusted the folks at REI to fit me for new ski boots. The staff member at REI was very polite however, he failed to measure my foot; he only fitted me with one boot and guaranteed they were a perfect fit. My feet were killing me and they were going numb! I trusted him and purchased the boots because he convinced me that this painful feeling was normal.

    THANKFULLY we found The Ski Company LTD the very next day!! Mark was patient, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Mark properly measured both of my feet and assistants me with multiple styles/designs of boots to find the perfect fit. I didn't feel rushed at all, Mark clearly wants to make sure his customers are properly fitted and satisfied.

    The experience was so wonderful, Mark helped be select the proper skis and other equipment I needed to be ready for the slopes. We even purchased a snowboard, bindings, and boots for our daughter! Mark expertly installed all of our bindings on the spot!! We are customers for life!! We have found a gem, The Ski Company is the ONLY Place to go if you want expert customer service from a knowledgeable and trustworthy business owner.

    We also noticed Mark's shop is very clean, organized and has a nice layout. Other stores we have visited are cramped and difficult to maneuver. It is very important to enjoy your experience from the beginning, if you get frustrated you tend to make hasty decisions. Mark made sure we were educated and prepared, he never pushed us to spend more nor did he attempt to upsell any items. We won't shop anywhere else!!!

    Stopped in to Rochester today, what an awesome experience. JL helped me get my son his first setup and I'm gonna be back soon to get mine for the first time in 15 years. Thanks for the great service JL!!!

    Very happy with their service. I get my gear in early to beat the rush. I like the buy back on my kids gear.

    Over the years, i've done a lot of business with the Ski Company and am always satisfied. After moving back into the area last year, we outfitted the whole family with skis. This year we purchased new skis again for our growing kids. Always great prices and the staff are super helpful at the Syracuse store.

    A real measure of how a company rates is how they handle things when they go wrong:
    I purchased a snowboard and bindings at the summer fairgrounds sale. Unfortunately there was an error and my boots did not fit the bindings. I ended up visiting the Syracuse store and changed out the bindings for a different set, which I later was unhappy with(not made for my style board). I emailed the Ski Company and the next business day I got a call from one of their managers, Dave. He said he needed to make this right and would like to have the whole board and bindings returned for a full refund. I showed up to the Syracuse store and returned the board. Next I met with the lead snowboard sales guy, Josh, who spent over an hour with me to ensure I got the right board and bindings I wanted. As my size had to be delivered from another store, Josh even brought them down to the Tully store, where I live, so I could pick them up easily. Josh is an energetic, positive at all times, and super motivated employee.

    While at the Tully store, I also brought in one of my other boards that had a broken binding. A young man named Skyler worked on getting a warranty replacement. When that fell through, he cannabalized some old equipment and riveted a new ratchet to my binding, saving me a ton of money and time. Much like Josh, Skyler is a super motivated guy that wants to keep customers happy - and he certainly did with me. I enjoy just talking "boarding" with both of them as well.

    It may be the only game in town anymore, but the Ski Company does not rest on those laurels. Their prices are aggressively low, better than online sites in many cases, and their people are top notch.
