Where you buy, however, has everything to do with what you get. You see, bicycles aren't like toasters or suitcases. Bikes are shipped in boxes and they must be assembled and tuned.
What's more, modern road and mountain bikes can travel at high speeds and carry you over demanding terrain where the machine's materials and construction get tested. A quality two-wheeler, carefully assembled and fit to you, will be the safest, most durable and fun bicycle to ride. Read more

I've owned and rode several high end road bike in my life, the same model "built" at different shops can vary greatly depending on the care and quality of the work of who actually puts the bike together. I expected a good bike, what I got was an exceptional bike, the build quality and attention to detail was fantastic. Colin and his staff should be commended, you have a client for life. -
They have helped with the purchase of every bike for the past decade, including those I could not get through them. They always go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and are easy going enough to just hang out and talk shop with.

These guys are the best bike mechanics in town. I bring all my bikes here. I've even got a carbon fiber epic that I bring here instead of Mike's bikes. I just feel at home at Summit, and have known these guys since they used to be at their old location downtown before they moved nearer to LGHS. They are building my son's first bmx bike as I write this review. Great shop.
