  Best dental visit I've ever had. I made an appointment for myself as well as for my 3yo twins. Sarah, the dental hygienist took great care to keep them comfortable. They watched a show while I got my exam and cleaning done, which was great btw. Afterwards she walked them through their first ever cleaning and they had a blast. Dr. Owen is very calm and professional so they had absolutely no fear. They even got presents later. Highly recommended!!!!

  I hadn't found a dentist since moving to Austin. My child's pediatric dentist recommended me, and I'm so thankful. Office staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hygienist Sarah, was amazing! Such a gentle touch and explained everything as she did it. She was very friendly and really put me at ease. Dr. Owen was also very friendly and informative. Probably the most pleasant dental visit in my 33 years, lol...they also sent me home with awesome freebies!! Happy to have found them.

  this was my first visit to Dr. Owen, I was recommended by a close friend, and overall the experience was great. I am pretty on edge around dentists normally and have had bad experiences in the past, but this was totally different. Dr. Owen and his staff seem honest, trustworthy and like they truly care about their patients' well-being. i hate hearing stories of people being persuaded into dental work they don't need, or being overcharged for services, but Dr. Owen on first impression seems to actually go with the most conservative approach possible and have fair prices.

  Apr 2017 I'm on a six month schedule and doing great. Had teeth cleaned by Sarah, highly recommend her. And of course I think highly of Dr Owen along with their office staff. 👍
  
  Oct 2016 I have been a patient of the previous dentist, Dr Hyden, and I met Dr Owen during the transition phase, I've had two crowns & a filling done by Dr Owen and I can honestly say he is gentle and very attentive to the patient's concern. I highly recommend him. I am also impressed with his hygienist & front desk staff!

  I've been going to Spicewood Dental since I moved to Austin 25 years ago. The original dentist, Dr. William Hyden, was the best dentist I ever had and a very sweet guy. If he picked Dr. Owen, that's a huge recommendation right there. Dr. Owen walks in Dr. Hyden's footsteps as a caring, gentle, honest dentist who is there when you need him. I'm never worried that they are recommending unnecessary work. Highly recommended!
