When we first brought our sons to Speak Out New York for a free 30 minute speech screening, we were skeptical of speech therapy from previous experiences: we didn't want to spend time and money on age-appropriate speech delays and just wanted to focus on the real problems. ... And when our boys had improved enough they let us know that the sessions could stop, rather than letting them drag on for extra, unnecessary months.

Vickie is fantastic and I can't say enough good things about her. I started speech therapy at age 32 to deal with a lisp that I'd been embarrassed about for my entire life. Vickie made me feel comfortable from day one and has been so supportive and encouraging. As I near the end of therapy, I'm shocked at how far I've come and grateful that I can finally speak confidently. She and Trisha are both wonderful and I would recommend them for both kids and adults.

A few years back I received a speech evaluation for my son, Adrien at SONY. Because of their group and your contacts we have been receiving speech services through CPSE for the last two years. My son has made significant improvements and will continue to received services for Kindergarten. I cannot express my sincere gratitude for your commitment to extend your expertise to families in need. I am forever grateful how your evaluation assisted us and put us in the right direction.

I am writing to tell you about an excellent speech pathologist in the neighborhood. Vickie Bageorgos has been helping Max with his speech and what can I say – I am speechless as to how great she is! She is right here on Reade street. I think it would be nice for other JCP kids needing speech to benefit from Vickie.

I entered Speakout’s office with little hope of ever conquering the speech impediment that I struggled with my entire life. Trisha and Vickie not only gave me hope but most importantly results. In short-time I I felt like a new man no longer carrying the weight of the insecurity I carried all my life.
