“One size does not fit all.” At the Sollohub School of Music, we believe in customized instruction, tailoring the lessons according to the students interests and goals. We only offer one-on-one instruction, having seen how much more beneficial it is over group lessons. In a group setting, students tend to be frustrated, feeling things are moving too quickly or too slowly, as well as not necessarily enjoying the material. Private instruction provides the personal direction needed to make learning an instrument fun, the attention to ensure the student progresses as quickly as possible, and the individual focus to accommodate the students interests. Both of my daughters have been students of the Sollohub School of Music for many years. My oldest has progressed to the point where she may eventually become a teacher at the school for young students. I cannot give Jeff and his many instructors enough praise, I am so glad we found Sollohub and would not hesitate to recommend them to any level of student.
