  When we moved to Austin, the movers destroyed the only antique piece of furniture we brought with us - my grandmother's writing desk. One leg has disintegrated; another was badly broken.
  Smithers was able to repair the piece beautifully and added a steel rod inside the broken legs so they're stronger & movers hopefully won't be able to destroy it again.
  The price & time it took were both reasonable, and the service pleasant. We've recently broken an dining room armchair, and will bring it over because I'm confident they'll be able to fix it, too. Would recommend for any wood furniture in need of love.

  Some of my parents' wooden furniture was damaged in a move. I had to fill out a damage form and estimate the approximate cost to repair it. I had no idea of the order of magnitude of cost, so I called Smithers. Even though it was a hard question to deal with over the phone, the guy was very helpful and friendly in giving me reasonable ranges. I will definitely be taking my furniture repairs to Smithers!

  Just called these guys with a question. He took the time to answer me completely and was very friendly about it. He didn't make me feel like I was intruding on his day even though I was. Next time I need any furniture repaired, this is the first place I will go for help. Thanks Smithers Furniture! Blessings - deb

  I use Larry and his team for all my furniture refinishing needs. They are the best in town and wouldn't go anywhere else!
