I have been to Smith & Davis twice in the past 6 months and could not be happier with my experiences. Pranith has done an amazing job taking me from blonde to a brunette color that is VERY close to my natural color. I have tried to go back to my natural color for years and have not had any luck in doing so until I went to Pranith. I would also highly recommend Samantha for haircuts. Samantha never fails to give me a cut that brings my hair back to life without sacrificing too much length. I've recently relocated to Louisville, KY and will still plan to go to Smith & Davis for my cut and color needs.

... Each time Michael has asked me when I wanted and did not want ( I came prepared with pictures of both because I had received a bad short hair cut from my previous salon.) Together we looked at pictures and talked for a long time before he started cutting and both times I have been very happy. Michael is also realistic-the hair cuts are not cheap and I am living off a teacher salary and he recommended that I see a cheaper salons for my trims and then go back to him when I needed a full hair cut again. I am going to go to Smith and Davis next week for a balayage.

I have been seeing Pranith for my color since I moved to Chicago nine months ago. He keeps my platinum blonde looking just how I like it--think more Khaleesi than southern debutante. Plus he always has great book recommendations. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They never pressure me to purchase products or other services there, which I appreciate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great colorist in Lincoln Park.

BRIA has given me the best haircut I have ever had. EVER. Just moved here and had to say goodbye to a beloved hairdresser. I did a ton of research (maybe too much) and came across Bria and decided to pull the trigger. Honestly if you have curly hair and want to do a bold cut with style unlike the cut curly heads feel like they have to stick with, go to her!! The salons energy seemed nice, everyone was pleasant. Bria obviously stole the show when it came to my experience. Gaaa still feeling love drunk from this cut.

Profesional service in a energetic atmosphere. The people that work here are attentive without being pushy. The word "cool" has lost its meaning over the last couple of decades but I always use it when I come across a genuine feeling of positive reception. That's Cool.
