Since moving to New York five years ago I have gone to quite a few salons, always leaving disappointed and on the search for another one. My roommate started going here awhile ago and raved about it. We have similar hair and styles so her recommendation was trusted. I booked with Robert and have not looked back since. Every time he meets my expectations and more with what I'm looking for. Even though this place is very much out of the way for me I don't care because a great salon is hard to come by. Booking my next appointment soon actually!

I just went to Shampoo Ave B for the first time and had a great experience getting a cut from Joey! He was friendly & extremely thorough with my cut--a total pro. I'd recommend him to any of my friends! The salon was also playing great music & cuts are affordable! A gem in NY! I'll definitely be back!

I had a fantastic experience at Shampoo Ave B. I have a little over shoulder-length hair and just needed a trim. The stylist did a great job of cutting to my hair type--my hair air dries so much better now! She explained what she wanted to do and combined my input with her recommendations to give me a great look. The appointment was quick, and VERY affordable for the city with the weekday discount. Will definitely be returning!

I was recommended to Shampoo Ave B by a friend. I had a wonderful experience. Very clean and stylish salon with upbeat vibes. Staff is attentive and makes customers very comfortable, offering complimentary water and wine. Joey did a great job on my cut and half head highlights. I had gone in with only a general idea of what I wanted but Joey was able to use his skills and expertise to give me a cut/color I loved. He asked questions to get a feel for what I might like and took his time to explain and show me exactly what he was going to do. I will definitely be returning for my next hair appointment!

Booked a hair cut here with Andrea and absolutely loved it and loved her. I am very picky about salons and I almost never trust new people to cut my hair but I have been looking for a new spot. Andrea really listened to what I wanted and she asked me all the right questions before she cut. The hair wash was so relaxing and the cut was exactly how I wanted. I have curly hair but she managed to get my hair extremely straight with just a blow dryer, which I loved. She seemed to be very experienced with curly hair. My cut was perfect and she took her time with my split ends. Great cut for the price and I was extremely satisfied with the outcome! Also great location and great service. Would definitely recommend
