  When my husband and I got engaged, one of the first things on our list was finding a photographer to capture our wedding day. Two of our college friends were planning a wedding in St. Louis as well, and enthusiastically recommended Sarah Corbett. My husband and I live in Ohio, but were getting married in my hometown of St. Louis. Because we were planning a wedding from out of state, we knew we needed someone who was communicative. Right away, we scheduled a meeting with Sarah over the phone and immediately were blown away by her passion for photography, her excitement to capture our day, and her interest in hearing as many details about our wedding day as we had planned so far. We were hooked :) Our photography sessions with Sarah were creative, professional, and FUN! Sarah has such an artistic eye and was a joy to work with. She is always looking for your point of view on how YOU want to see your pictures, which is awesome. But I promise if you don't know anything about photography (like us), you can 100% trust that Sarah will capture truly beautiful images. After our amazing engagement session with her, she designed our save-the-dates that went out to our wedding guests. We were so excited, and this was just the beginning of what was to come on our wedding day! As most brides will tell you, the wedding day itself was a complete blur. There is so much happening between preparing for the ceremony itself, catching up with old friends, and dancing the night away, that you feel like you blink and it is over! Sarah and her assistant Ray were there to capture every moment of our day. As the bride and groom, you are sometimes expected to be in 3 places at once. Sarah's images helped capture us in those moments so that they were not lost in the blur. Although you do your best to be in 3 places at once, sometimes the laws of physics prevent you from being in a 4th place where something else fun or memorable is happening. Sarah and Ray picked out those opportunities and allowed us to re-experience our wedding from a slightly different angle. This was fun and helped us feel like we really were everywhere and saw everything on our special day. To summarize: Sarah is upbeat, professional, positive and loves her job. We really enjoyed our sessions with her, appreciated her artistic sense and found it easy to let our chemistry flow naturally around her. As a result, her photos captured the spirit of our relationship and of our wedding day. Our friends recommended Sarah Corbett to us and we are glad they did! We will emphatically recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing wedding photography experience with photos that you will cherish for the rest of your life :)

  I have had the pleasure of knowing Sarah Corbett for the last 14 years but only recently had the honor of having her as our wedding photographer. We had a destination wedding in Hawaii and Sarah captured it just beautifully! Her positive and upbeat energy behind the camera not only makes you smile naturally, it also calms your nerves and completely uplifts you! Our guests also raved about her infectious personality, her unobtrusive presence and of course -- her knack for capturing and creating gorgeous photographs! Her eye for detail and lighting are beyond compare! We are so happy to have had her as our photographer and we know you will be too!

  If you're reading the 5 star reviews then you've already probably decided that Sarah is one of your top potential choices. You might be wondering if it's worth the cost. It is. Sarah's photography speaks for itself, and you WILL get the highest quality of photos representing the people and loving moments at your wedding. We personally used her for engagement and wedding photography. She doesn't focus on artificially trying to make your wedding photos beautiful through elaborate, lengthy, and frustrating set ups. She DOES bring out the beauty and love that is already at your wedding to full focus. She becomes a part of your wedding, catching every ebb and flow of the most dear moments as they come. Not only that, but she makes a heck of a wedding guest - mingling and helping to build the atmosphere as she genuinely loves being able to be a part of your big day and being able to use her (ample) talents to bring out the best moments. LASTLY, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT - please please please ask Sarah about her instant film. It's a small additional cost, but she brought along another great photographer (hi Jeremy!) to walk around with a polaroid. He'll capture moments for everyone involved and the photos that people took with them are their most prized takeaways from our wedding. Plus, after we ran down our sparkler line on our way to the getaway car he shoved some "best of" wedding photos in my suit pocket, and I can't over stress how valuable those treasures are.   Sarah was absolutely perfect on our wedding day! We were married on the most beautiful day with wonderful weather & in an unbelievably ornate & gorgeous church. Sarah managed to capture not only the beauty of the locales so that we will remember them forever. She also captured the pure joy and ecstasy of the best day of our lives. We had 275 people in attendance that day, and, somehow, I think EVERY person ended up in a photo looking fabulous! Thank you for everything, Sarah!

  Sarah is a dream come true! I was dreading get "photographed" for fear of looking stiff and forced but Sarah took away all my fears and replaced them with one stunning memento after another. She didn't just take pictures, she told our unique love story in the most heart-breakingly soulful and beautiful way. I don't know how she managed to capture some of these candid moments because I didn't even know she was there half the time. She has a gift of making everyone around her feel so comfortable. We immediately relaxed, forgot about the camera, let loose, had fun and ended up looking more beautiful and radiant than we ever thought possible.. Her work is pure magic and SHE is equal parts magician, artist and angel. HIRE HER!
