After I graduated, I knew I wanted to find a career that could combine both my creative side as well as my knack for planning. At my first job, I was given the opportunity to plan customer appreciation events, company cruises, national trade show exhibits, and holiday parties. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, for which I thank my father, but it was just a matter of discovering what I was truly passionate about. A few years later, I had the chance to work as an Event Assistant for one of the BEST wedding planners in Chicago. I knew this was where my talent belonged! Working with Samantha turned out to be one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. We had the partial event planning package, and I am so thankful we went with the extra services. We ended up going through two different venue changes, one of which happened 3 weeks before our wedding. Samantha jumped right in to help change our plans. ... Our Son was married last month. We had a couple of challenges. The first was that we are located in Southern California and the wedding was held in Chicago, Illinois. The second concern was that we had never done this before and had no idea what our responsibilities were as parents of the groom. That was when we met Samantha at Samantha Joy Events. She was the perfect gift at the right time. She helped us at every turn, either by phone, email or in person. She addressed all of our concerns and calmed us down by providing the perfect suggestions at every turn. She has a great eye for beauty and detail. Working with Samantha was absolutely amazing! We used her month of/day of planning service and it was perfect! I almost wish I would have gone with a more inclusive package, she was just so helpful! Any question or concern I had I could just email her and she was there to help. Although we were not in the same state during the planning period that did not affect anything! She was there through pictures, FaceTime, and phone calls helping me through every step. Samantha made everything so simple and stress free! ...

I had a wonderful experience with Samantha as my Day-Of Coordinator for my wedding in Pittsburgh! As much as you may plan and think you have everything together for your big day - the actual day of can be kind of crazy and a bit of a whirlwind so day-of coordination is a HUGE help!
