We had a very positive experience with Redfern brooklyn. Sera Rogue, the owner, created a total transformation in our drab and overgrown backyard in Park Slope. She and her two very hardworking assistants dug up and replaced all the mulch and a couple of inches of topsoil, cut back and trimmed the existing bushes and foliage, and created a completely new look with placement of new plants, skillfully and beautifully set in different sections of the yard. By planting in the soil as well as using planters with flowers she created a unique and beautiful design. And all in 7 hours!

We used Red Fern for our backyard hard scrape transformation and couldn't have been happier with the result. From the initial consultation through the end of a 3-4 month project Sera was very hands on, accessible, communicative, professional, and thorough. We found her team as well as the subcontractors to all be very easy to work with, clean, respectful, and punctual. The project itself was very involved and included removal of an existing deck and fence, complete hard scrape, leveling, blue stone patio lay, new metal deck, bricking over an extension, installing a new fence, and finally garden bed installation with built in irrigation system. We would recommend Red Fern to anyone starting a garden or backyard project and will hire them again in the future. Our before and after pictures are included and they speak to the quality of the work.
