  ... Since we both work full time jobs and travel often, it was important to us to have someone who was able to step in full time and who understood our vision and aesthetic and Amanda was that person for us. Coming from an artistic background myself, I wanted someone who had a slightly different take on the design and décor for a wedding and Amanda was able to execute the vision I had in my head perfectly. We greatly appreciated the day-of execution and how everything came together for both days so smoothly, even though both days were so different in both design and purpose. We are so grateful to Amanda for what she did for us on our special days and we cannot thank her enough for what she was able to deliver.

  We truly loved working with Oak and Cypress. I couldn't have better things to say about working with Amanda and her team. When my husband and I got engaged, I was determined to enjoyable engagement period, and to minimize all stress. During the first sit-down with Amanda, I knew that she would be the one! She is so knowledgable, organized and had such great energy. The team at Oak and Cypress are also fantastic. ...

  Amanda did an excellent job. We made her truck her and our dance floor all the way to the Lake Crescent Lodge. The day of the wedding we had a factory line assembly for the flowers and decorations. The wedding went off without a hitch and my friends are still talking about it. Couldn't have done it without her.

  ... She dedicated time to listening to our vision for the day, as well as offering gentle guidance for how to achieve our ideal wedding. We never felt rushed or dismissed, rather, Amanda was patient, caring, and often more dedicated to the details than we were. While Amanda’s knowledge of the process was truly invaluable, it was her sweet, patient, grounded presence that we were most appreciative of. She was a true pleasure to work with, so much so, that we are actually trying to find other events worthy of hiring her on for! Our heartiest recommendation to and gratitude for Amanda and Oak & Cypress Weddings!

  We felt working with Amanda was a great value because she is very resourceful and well connected. She recommended and put us in touch with really good vendors including our photographer, officiant and florist. Finally, not only does Amanda come up with a vision, but she can deliver! On the day of the wedding she totally took charge and her team took care of everything for us and our guests. We were so happy with how everything turned out, and really impressed with how she just made everything happen.
