This was my first session. Joey knows what he's talking about. I've seen other nutritionists before but they always gave me literature and left me on my own. I met Joey through RecSports at UT through the personal training program. He is a young, friendly individual who will allow you to set your own pace along with encouraging you to push and soar through your limits. He is knowledgeable about exercise in general and is very aware of the nutrition a person requires. He doesn't look down at you for being incapable of being weak and ignorant about physical activity. My boyfriend and I found Joey through RecSports at the University of Texas and started training with him there. Not only is he a fantastic trainer, he also gave us amazing nutrition advice. I had never really worked out properly before and wanted to get a good basic routine down, and Joey was perfect for that. He is extremely knowledgeable about every workout he had us do, and always had an answer for our questions, whether it was about working out or diet/nutrition (and I had a lot of questions).
