  Had to give this quaint, local business 5 stars. Found them on Yelp. The earliest oil change appointment I was able to get wasn't within the next two weeks and I can see why. My oil change & tire rotation for my Lexus ended up less than I expected & it was finished much earlier than expected. That was nice especially since I had to wait there. There's chairs to wait in a well ventilated area with some water. The what seemed to be male owner was friendly. Will most likely be back!

  I actually downloaded the Yelp App for the first time in years to write this review. As a single woman, I have a fear of mechanics. Some poor past experiences left an impression on me. HOWEVER, this place is *awesome*. This is the best car repair experience I've ever had!

  I came in on a a late Thursday afternoon, the fix was done by 1PM the next day!! Such short notice and he charged me HALF of what the first place quoted. Couldn't be happier!!! Thank you Japanese no.1! :D

  The previous owners of my Subaru recommended No. 1 Japanese Auto Repair. I trusted their opinion based on the care and maintenance of the car they sold me. No. 1 is amazing! As a single woman who knows a limited amount about automotives I am so grateful for a business that operates with such honesty, transparency and integrity. No. 1 has always given me straightforward information, never tried to gouge me. They give honest recommendations with realistic time frames and no scare tactics. I highly recommend them and plan on using them for all my automotive needs.

  I've been taking my car to No. 1 for preventive maintenance regularly for a number of years. My experiences have always been excellent. I appreciate their willingness to say honestly whether particular work needs to be done or not. Recently, the Toyota dealer told me that my car needs $1800 worth of work. I had Tony look at it, and he told me it looks fine, and nothing needs to be done. And he didn't charge me for looking at it. Also, I appreciate the kindness and compassion with which Tony communicates. No. 1 helps me keep my Toyota in great shape!
