It looks like I'm nearly done; about one more month with braces! Dr. Nantz reviewed my condition and made sure I was happy with the way my smile turned out before scheduling the final appointment. It's actually a bitter sweet feeling to know that I'll get my braces off soon; I will miss the supportive and kind staff at Dr. Nantz's office.

Dr. Nantz is SO VERY kind, patient and encouraging, even for my teenager who is a real challenge to follow-through with brushing and wearing of bands! His optimism is unwavering, even when he can tell that those things haven't been done (but was told by my teenager that they had). Dr. Nantz remained firm with his expectations for her, in such a kind and compassionate way. -Thank you, Dr. Nantz!

It's finally over! After more than a year, my braces came off yesterday! My teeth look great and it is SO NICE to be able to eat without having to worry about "stuff" getting caught in the metal! Entire staff applauded me after removal, and I also got a nice goody bag (including some popcorn--which I have studiously avoided). I have one more visit to get my retainer (so my teeth don't march apart again!). I'll miss the warm smiles and happy faces and friendliness of the staff (though I won't--admittedly--miss the braces themselves!). The idea of braces is a "one-time" idea. You don't keep going back to the orthodontist after you are done with your treatment (unlike your regular dentist or family care practitioner, etc.). So it is basically "good-bye" to those who have been a more-than-monthly part of your life for over a year. To those of you at Nantz Orthodontics, my "good bye" is with a BIG smile (with straight lower teeth!) and BIG thanks for making the process so palatable. To anyone considering or needing braces, factor in the HUMAN side of the equation, too, and recognize that the staff at Nantz Orthodontics really care about you and won't make braces ENJOYABLE but will make them TOLERABLE! Check them out. You'll be glad you did--just as I am glad I did!

We are now 8 months in and LOVE the office & staff! You all are doing a tremendous job & Haven loves going to her appointments. As well as I do so I can get my Lemon ZInger tea fix. Haven's teeth are coming together perfectly and it brightens her day every time she notices how straight they're getting. Keep up the good work and thank you!

I simply love Dr. Nantz and his staff! The ladies are always so courteous and kind to me. They patiently wait to for me to brush my teeth and get ready for my appointment while adding points due to my time of arrival etc. I love how thoroughly the girls are to make sure your trays are fittings properly each time and asses your teeth. I love how every time I go the office has a fun activity going on for the month in order to gain points! I've won mighty fine gift cards and movie tickets by just checking in on Facebook! Now that is a treat! Thanks to Dr Nantz and his staff I am more confident in my smile and look forward to actually going to the orthodontist. Who can say that?! :)
