In Mysore classes, students receive individualized instruction to learn the Ashtanga sequence of postures step by step, advancing as they gain proficiency. Read more

Brand new studio bringing Ashtanga to Austin. Andrew is a great teacher, knowledgable and makes the sequences comfortable and accessible for all levels. This is a place to focus on yourself and your breath and practice without distraction. Instead of music, you might just notice your beads of sweat pounding the ground like a bad@$$ drumbeat. It's hard, but most rewarding things are.
    Namaste!

If you have been looking for an "authentic" yoga practice where you are forced to apply the spiritual principles of yamas and niyamas, ashtanga may be for you. ...

I've been practicing with Andrew since his early days here in Austin. I've also studied with Sharat Jois in Mysore, India. Everything from the strictness to the sweetness of Mysore is evident in this new shala. We are really lucky to have him. ...
