Mt Brighton Ski School

Teaching Skiing

Mt. Brighton is a ski and snowboard area in Brighton, Michigan, that opened in 1960. As no hills large enough for commercial skiing or snowboarding exist naturally in Brighton, Mt. Brighton's slopes are man-made and reach a maximum height of 230 vertical feet. Mt. Brighton has 5 chairlifts and 7 surface lifts. Silver is the longest and newest of the 25 runs, running 1,350 feet. A terrain park, featuring rails, boxes, and jumps, is available to freestyle skiers and snowboarders. Almost all of the snow on Mt. Brighton is created artificially using water stored in an on-site reservoir and industry standard snowmaking equipment. Read more

They teach little ones and big ones to ski. They are patient, kind and advance their students well.

Very well organized and run great. Conditions of course was great. You can tell the take care of it. A relaxed atmosphere and all the staff are very friendly. Can't wait to go back. Wish they could keep it going to end of August.

Mt. Brighton Ski Resort is the best for kids to learn how to ski only 16 miles from our home in Ann Arbor and for their 50 something parents to also ski along side their kids without worrying about breaking a bone on a triple diamond track. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the prices of ski, lift and even the foods is very reasonable and much lower than resorts out west with very good qualities offered. The same mother company of Vail Resorts has done an outstanding job here in Michigan only minutes away from our house.

We have been skiing here for years. Every year we see improvements. Better Snow, Better Lifts and Better Staff. I see people saying its too expensive but they have 1/2 day rates and its way cheaper than paying for my family of 4 to drive up north, get a hotel and food out. We get season passes and stop in anytime even just for an hour. No complaints from me.

I ski here all the time, but I am inspired to write this review today because of the great interactions I had with staff today. I lost my wallet. I knew I lost it there because I used it at the Ore Creek bar. Every person I talked to told me that the found items get turned into Guest Services at the end of the night. It was comforting to know that everyone was trained the same way. Everyone was sympathetic and professional. ...
