  ... Sure enough, I walked in and Laura greeted me warmly and took the glasses right away. Obviously any store may not be able to just jump in and help on the fly, but Laura and the staff today were so friendly and accommodating. Glasses look as good as new and I'm pleased with their service. Also, their selection of frames look great with a local, artisan flare with the stock variety choices as well.

  Don't ever go to buy glasses in a mall or a chain store. This group are very knowledgeable and they are priced fair. You will be pleasantly surprised.

  I was in town for a conference and one of my contacts ripped an hour before I had to speak. I quickly called Modern Eye to see if they could help me. They said if I had my prescription they would be happy to give me a pair of samples for free. I was in and out in 2 mins and was so grateful for the amazing customer service and kindness from someone who knew I would likely never be a customer since I am not from Philly. I hope people in Philly will support the great people who work here!

  I've seen many optometrists, but to my surprise, this was the first time my vision has been corrected to better than average. I also found my favorite frames at this location. Make sure you have good insurance, though, it's not cheap.

  Just had the best experience here! The staff is kind and knowledgable, and the store itself has a great vibe. I only came in to have my frames (which I bought elsewhere) adjusted--which was free, even for three pairs!--but I'll definitely come back the next time I buy frames!
