  Taking classes with Mireille is both inspiring and illuminating. She breaks dance patterns into manageable chunks and finds wonderful metaphors to help us visualize the correct form. She's also very sharp. As we execute a new move -- she quickly spots and gently corrects any errors in form, so we always leave class better dancers than when we entered the studio. Her warmth and positivity are contagious! She brightens our day and creates a welcoming community for dancers at any level.

  Our First-Dance Teacher!
  Mireille is the best!!!! Two months before our wedding, we started looking for a teacher for our first dance. Before choosing her, we picked up a few places nearby, and we compared teachers by reading reviews, checking prices, and watching their dances on YouTube. Mireille was already great in our comparison chart at this point (of just looking at Internet information). But she is actually way above great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For example, she remembers what happened to us in the previous week, and she asks us how it went. She is great at communication, and she makes us laugh hard every time! Also she's diligent.   There are not enough superlatives to describe Mireille. Not only is she upbeat, patient, extremely knowledgeable, beautiful inside and out, and an accomplished professional in her own right--she makes dancing so much fun! ... She made us look like real dancers on the dance floor. Mireille is able to explain, encourage, and lead or follow doing the man's part or the ladies part while leading the student on the dance floor. We came to Mireille knowing nothing. She has also taught us how to "look" like real dancers. She doesn't just teach the proper steps, she is an amazing teacher of the technical aspects of dancing too. ... I have enjoyed dancing so much with Mireille that I decided to take private lessons--just me!--on an additional day. ...

  Mireille is one of the best ballroom dance teachers ever.
  She is so patient, and no matter what level you are, a beginner or semi pro, she meets you at your level. I love the way she teaches - she breaks everything down where it makes sense. I have taken group lessons, private lessons and performance group lessons from her, and wish I would have started taking from her earlier. Everyone loves her - not only is she a beautiful competitive ballroom dancer, but her spirit and beautiful soul makes learning so much fun.

  I am attending a wedding soon and wanted a basic lesson so that I could build up some confidence and lessen my self consciousness on the dance floor. Mireille tailored the lesson that met those goals perfectly. She is very nice and brought a positive and upbeat attitude to the lesson. She kept things simple and was clear and understandable in her approach. While my requirements were pretty easy, it's clear she would be a terrific instructor for all levels of dance. I heartily recommend Mireille.
