My husband and I bought an early 1900's dutch colonial which still had most of the original double hung windows - and four original sets of french doors. They were gorgeous and a large part of the reason we bought the house. But they needed serious work - 100 years of paint and neglect needed to be undone!...

Thanks for doing such a fantastic job, Method Restoration! I really appreciated your care to match the original hardware & preserve these beautiful windows. I love my old house so it's a wonderful thing to find someone with the craftsmanship that Peter has. Excellent & professional work - highly recommended!

Method Restoration has restored three floors of windows in our 120 year old brownstone. It has been a pleasure having Peter and Greg work in our home. They are skilled and experienced, and good at problem solving. All the work was done meticulously, in an organized and thoughtful manner. I did a lot of research and felt that as our windows had already lasted 120 years, and were in fairly good condition, it would be greener to restore them, rather than throw them away, and replace them with new windows which might only last 20-30 years...

My husband purchased and old garage warehouse and wanted to transform it to a Carriage House. He hired Method Restoration to restore the front door and the carriage doors. Method restoration are artisans, they took these plain doors and transformed them to turn of the century looking doors. They are so beautiful!

Their attention to detail is outstanding and they worked quickly and there were no hidden charges.
Both my husband and I would wholeheatly recommend Method Restoration if you want to restore any wood project like doors, windows and staircases. They bring back the beauty that once was, without over charging!
