These guys are fantastic! I worked with them couple of times already. They know exactly why they are doing, unlike most dealership mechanics. They are very honest in their recommendations and very friendly. I had to go to a dealership because of a recall; before fixing the recall item (airbag inflators), they inspected my car for "free" and came up with a list of items to fix that amounted to $2000. They flagged many of them as safety concerns even though I never had any problem driving my car. When I hesitated to go for the repairs, the pressure started-- TOO MUCH. Unbelievable!!! I then took my car to Maish for a second opinion and brought with me the paperwork from the dealership with all their recommendations. These guys at Maish examined all the mentioned items and tested them, and showed and explained everything to me. It turns out the dealership was out to rip me off. All the things they suggested I change, including the brakes were in great working condition. No need to go and spend $2000 for nothing. These guys didn't even charge me for their time and explanation. Saved my day. They love their job, they know what they are doing, they are honest and hardworking. Kudos to them!!!

Great service! I called ahead of time to check if I could bring in my car and was told it can be tuned up within the next hour. The mechanics know what they're doing here.

They do excellent work at a fair price (same as the trusted mechanic my family has gone to for years in southern MD) and don't try to sell me extra stuff. I trust them. FYI - they don't do transmission work.

I've never bothered to write a Yelp review before but I felt the need to today since the folks at Maish's are absolutely amazing. Easy parking lot, pleasant (and air-conditioned!) lobby area complete with two adorable chubby pugs behind the desk. They know a lot about Prius issues (not every repair shop does) and when they diagnosed mine with a failing hybrid battery they informed me that it was under warranty and coached me through dealing with the Toyota dealership to get it replaced for free. On top of it all, they waived the $88 diagnostic fee. Everyone was so helpful and nice that it actually brought a year to my eye on what was otherwise a terrible day. I will absolutely be back to have future service and repairs done here! Thanks guys!

My car Lisa decided to die on me one morning and cause me a headache for the rest of the day. I see Maish's on the way to work every morning, saw that they had relatively good reviews and decided to give them a try. I called and told them my battery was dead; they guy ordered a new one for me and said they'd be ready for me in 20 minutes. However, I couldn't get away from work. So I wound up going the next morning at 8:00am. Thankfully, they still had the battery and they got it changed in time to send me on my way to work at 9:00am. They also told me I had a crappy tired (which I knew) and sold me a gently used replacement and got that on there fast. I love the location, the friendliness and flat honesty. I will definitely consider them in the future when I need service
