Mainstay Tattoo

Tattoo Artist

Mainstay Tattoo is presented by Zach Nelligan, Ivan Antonyshev, and Cory Schofield with the intention of being Austin’s first and only completely classic tattoo shop. This means keeping a small, close-knit crew and painting the bulk of the designs on the walls. Walk-ins are always welcome, as we encourage collectors to come visit and choose from the constantly updated walls of flash, but custom work and appointments are also appreciated. We specialize in western traditional tattoos, but can easily work in various styles. Come see what we can do for you! Read more

I drive from Houston (about 3 hours) just to get tattooed by Zach, he is incredible. Super clean and bold and his style is absolutely timeless. Mainstay is in a cozy house with tons of flash, cant say enough good things about him or the parlor, I plan on him doing all my tattoos!

Looking for your next traditional tattoo? Look no further; this place is a dream. ...
Ivan gave me one of the better tattoo experiences I've had here in Austin, and I am immensely satisfied with the level of work and customer care he displayed in the 3+ hours I sat with him. He's so booked up already I'd like to be selfish and keep him for myself, but I have to give credit where credit is due... dude is a wizard.
    Will definitely be returning soon.

Ivan has done a number of my tattoos and they're all incredible. Clean bold and unique. He has a very morbid traditional style that really transfers well into his work. Do recommend a million times. Talented dudes!!
