Update: no leaks or problems despite the heavy rains this month.

Also, the exhaust fan on my range hood started making a weird sound after the roof installation. I called Tom and he immediately agreed to pay for somebody to take a look. The guys came and discovered that three small pieces of shingle had fallen into the top of the vent. I sent Tom the receipt and he paid it within minutes, plus a little extra for my trouble.
Obviously, the best scenario is for Tom's crew to make no mistakes. But mistakes happen, and the next best outcome is for Tom to own the mistakes and fix them completely and quickly. He did that. I'd use them again. -

Honest, prompt customer service, quality workmanship, Thomas came out to give me an estimate for a decorative copper porch roof and identified a more urgent roof gutter problem causing leaking and overflow. I was told by other contractors the entire gutter system was failing and was gathering estimates for replacement, however, Lyons Contracting was able to correct the problem by re-mounting, adding two additional downspouts and gutter guards saving me thousands. The team was at my property for a 2-3 hours and left the yard so tidy I didn't even know they had come. Highly recommend!

Just had Lyons Contracting replace our 25-year-old roof in Del Ray. Lyons wasn't the lowest estimate but we thought it the best. Tom's crew did a great job. It didn't come in on budget but we knew going into it that there might be additional wood that would need to be replaced on the roof and we're satisfied with the additional charges for the additional work. The weather didn't cooperate but his team worked around nature and did a great job. I strongly recommend Lyons for your roofing needs, Lyons also provides a great guarantee with a one-time transfer to a new owner.

We contacted Lyon's contracting via google after our insurance sent out another company three times over the past year for a leak on the forth floor. That company and the insurance wanted to pay for a problem they NEVER put eyes on.

... Lyon's waited to invoice for payment. Luckily we had several heavy rains and even more luckily out leak was fixed.

I'll echo what others have said about Tom being prompt, helpful, honest, and not the least bit pushy. We asked for quotes on some small gutter and fascia work as well as a general assessment of the condition of the metal roof on our new home and Tom spent an hour on a Saturday morning giving us an educational trip across our roof, asking us about our long term plans for the exterior, and then telling us how we could affordably manage some small issues while waiting for a more comprehensive replacement some time down the line. This is a guy who cares about craftsmanship and I'll certainly be in touch with him when the time comes.
