This is a first class vet clinic even though it's not in the most affluent part of town. My dog had ingested some poison and I had bounced around town looking for someone who would show some compassion to an animal in clear distress. They do not operate an overnight hospital, but they do have an overnight boarding facility. Dr. Gilbert compassionately and efficiently treated my dog and gave me a great referral to an overnight hospital. I am not a regular patient of theirs so this was even more impressive. Way more impressive than my "regular" vet, Banfield, that couldn't be bothered with a sick dog. It may not be the most convenient location but the value and compassion is worth the travel time.

Long Drive Dog and Cat hospital has been there for me through thick and thin for the care of our dogs and cats for a long time. They have always given the utmost care to them and at several times gotten me through some rough decisions as regards their care. I don't plan to go anywhere else for their veterinary care.

Dr. Shelby and Dr. Badeau at Long Drive Dog & Cat hospital are the nicest and most knowledgeable vets I've ever met. Dr. Shelby saved my dachshunds life and Dr. Badeau followed up and she is pretty amazing too. Wish I had found these wonderful vets many years ago. Their prices are reasonable for my budget. Thank you Long Drive and all the techs too. Very kind people. P. Sterling

I've been going to this vet office for over 5 years. They have cared for my cat very well. We also have a dog and I can say that they saved my dogs life. The vet cured my dog of heartworms and they took very good care of her. Staff was always very sweet to my dog. We now have a new kitten and we will be taking him there too.

Dr. Castro is a great vet. She is kind & caring. My 16 years old chihuahua has had congestive heart failure for years that was controlled my medication. On Saturday, my sweet little buddy passed over the rainbow bridge & Dr. Castro was there to help. She is very compassionate. I wouldn't use anyone else in my opinion.
