Le Furniture Repair and Woodwork

Furniture Repair

First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is H.V. Le, aka Steven Le. I arrived to the United States towards the end of September 1981. In the spring of 1982, I enrolled in Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Louisiana to learn my trade. For the first year I was only allowed to study English as a second language. Starting the second year, I began to take carpentry and cabinet making courses. In order to graduate, I was required to take general education related courses as well. After three and a half years in school, on the first day of June 1985, I graduated with two AAS degrees: one in carpentry and one in cabinet making.
Thanks to God and to the people of the United States who had given me this opportunity to reeducate and learn my trade, I became a carpenter and also a cabinet maker or as we call it by another name, "a hammer holder." Right after graduation, I was offered to do furniture repair, refinishing, antique restoration and woodworking by a furniture company. As of today, I have a total of 23 years of working experience in the following areas: finish carpentry, cabinetry, furniture making, furniture repair, refinishing, antique restoration, reupholstering, chair caning and rushing. One thing for sure, I don't know everything but I know enough to take care of your cabinet and furniture the best way I know how to. Read more

I ordered an ottoman that arrived with a broken leg. Le's provides me with a fair price and delivered the furniture in half the time quoted. I'm very pleased.

I brought in an old cabinet to Mr. Le. Its doors had fallen off, I handed him the hinges and some hardware that I had put in a little envelope. Mr. Le was able to take all those parts and pieces and repair this cabinet like it was new. This furniture piece has such sentimental value to me, thank you Mr. Le for returning it to me looking so beautiful. It is now sitting proudly in my living room.

The only reasonably priced place we've found at whistler thus far. It's beyond resonble! Internet unreasonably inexpensive with a 5 dollar menu! And it's delicious👍🏻 friendly service, roomy seating.

I brought my dining chair in for a "broken leg" repair after a move, and Le repaired it quickly and inexpensively. His work is outstanding, as the chair works great and the repair is imperceptible. I highly recommend him for any furniture repairs you may have, and would definitely use him again!
