  Great place. I brought my several year old iMac in and they fixed it in a day...I couldn't be happier. They really came through for me and rescued my week! What can I say, when one's computer dies you need help quickly... Awesome personal service. Can't recommend highly enough.

  After cleaning my Mac laptop with a sanitizing wipe it shut off and wouldn't power back on. I knew for sure I had water damage and it would be a costly fix. After googling 'Mac laptop water damage repair cost" I was coming across 5 6 and $700 comments; an expense I was not looking forward to having to pay. About a week ago I took my computer to UBreakItWeFixit in the South Loop area, they opened the computer and couldn't find any corrosion so they think the water damage went deeper into the computer (to a place they did not have the expertise to check or repair). ...

  I spilled coffee ALL OVER my MacBook Pro a couple of weeks ago. I panicked and called Apple and they referred me to Lapin to get it checked out. Lapin was on it right away--no wait time at all. I'm so glad I went here instead of to the Apple store because Apple would have charged me upwards of $800 (macbook warranty does not cover water damage). Lapin took my laptop in on the same day, charged me $80 to clean it and see what needed to be replaced. Luckily, they were able to get a new monitor in covered by Apple and the installation only cost $100. ...

  Clear communication, great service - hard to beat. Got the problem with my MacBook Air (vintage according to apple standard) fixed within one day (screen needed to be replaced), after having wasted quite some time with the mac store close by. The only good hint they gave me at the Mac store was to give Lapin Systems a try. Next time I will go there straightaway.

  Quick and affordable- absolutely a great place! Got my Mac mini's crappy hard drive replaced with an SSD. I got a quote over the phone,brought it in the next morning, and picked it up the next day. Really great service! Will be coming back soon!
