Lacefield Music

Music Teacher

Lacefield Music was founded in 1995 by Cathy Krubsack and her oldest son Steve Lacefield in South County St. Louis, Missouri. Their vision was to make learning how to play piano possible for everyone regardless of age and at the same time creating a fun atmosphere to learn in.

To make this vision a reality, they offered free lessons to anyone in the house over the age of 18 when a family purchased a piano from Lacefield Music. In just the first year the company was growing and in much need of a new employee. This person would forever change the fun factor of our company. Dwayne Hilton was that person and now is a vested partner in the family operation. Read more

I just finished my first eight weeks of piano lessons at Lacefield in St. Charles. It was an awesome experience and definitely learned more than I ever expected. The instructor Pete, and co-instructor, Jim, did a fantastic job...kept it very simple, easy to learn, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this class and Lacefield Music.

This family takes care of you. They and all the staff and the friends you make become an extended family. The free group classes keep learning and playing fun. Needless to say, the organs and pianos are more than awesome. Love these people. Thank you all.

Not only did Lacefield make my purchase of a Lowery Fanfare organ possible but their free lessons for life are a fantastic bonus. I have made tremendous progress thanks to all the wonderful staff at Lacefield and they take time for individual help as well. They are making a lifelong dream come true. If you want an Organ or Piano plus FREE lessons for life and are first class, go to Lacefield Music. You won't be sorry.

The staff and music instructors at this facility are extremely friendly, knowledgable and flexible. I came here for acoustic guitar lessons as a gift from my husband and worked with Richard Cullen, who has the patience of a saint! The passion for music is hard to miss. They seem to have a large variety of instruments to purchase or to learn about / how to play so if you are looking for a fun hobby or a great instructor, give Lacefield a try.
