Shortly after graduating Marble Falls High School, Katie moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue a career in Fashion Merchandising at Wade College. There soon after she moved back to Austin, Texas where she went on to study Cosmetology at Baldwin Beauty School. It was here where she took her love for hair + makeup and decided to make it into a career thus launching the Kiss by Katie Blog and eventually offering a full service menu. Katie did the makeup for my wedding. I looked fantastic as did my bridesmaids, mom, and flower girls. She enhanced everyone's natural beauty. Katie brought fun 90s music for the bridal suite and was super chill all day. She even put a little color on the flower girls, which they thought was the coolest thing. One thing that really made my day easier was that Katie was super flexible with the makeup timeline as well as me changing my mind about my look. ...

Katelyn is simply the best!!! She is amazingly talented and is so accommodating!! I asked her to add an extra person's make-up the week before our wedding and to come earlier than we had originally planned. She was more than willing to accommodate my last minute request. I couldn't imagine feeling any more beautiful than I did on my wedding day!! And all the girls in my bridal party were absolutely stunning. You will not find a better make up artist or more genuine person than Kate. You can not go wrong with this lovely lady!!!

YES, YES, AND YES!!! Katie is FABULOUS!!! I knew I wanted her before I even contacted her just by looking around on her website. Her work is amazing! She typically does a very natural look, which is more my style. Even though everyone looks different, she is able to make everyone's makeup all flow together and give the group a cohesive look. My makeup even lasted through the day after my wedding while traveling to Mexico for our honeymoon. I will definitely be using Katie for all of my future hair and makeup needs. Love her!

Katie was amazing!!!! My daughter was getting married and Katie did her hair and makeup. The hairstyle Katie chose for my daughter was perfect and her makeup was fabulous!!Katie is awesome and very talented in the hair/makeup field. She has a passion for what she does and it shows!!!Katie did my hair and makeup as well. We both had soo many compliments!!! Katie was super to work with and She was very nice and patient. Thanks to Katie ,my daughter felt beautiful on her wedding day
