Before you can choose an actual dog trainer, I believe you must first decide what kind of bond you want to establish with your dog. Do you want a relationship based on Intimidation and Force or would you like one based on Cooperation and Trust? Do you want to use Pain to get your dog to listen to you or would you rather use Pleasure? Choke chains or Cookies? It really is a choice. To take it a step further, I truly believe every single one of us raising dogs today share an incredible responsibility in determining how our dogs will view their world. Will they see through the eyes of fear or through the eyes of love? The latter is only possible with a process of training and interacting with your dog that uplifts his spirit rather than tears it down.     We have continued to use Karma Dog for our sweet 4 year old rescue dog, Pepper, and it's already been one year now - we still LOVE them!! We initially did the Reverse Train because Pepper had major separation anxiety - among other issues. ... All of the trainers obviously love dogs, are experienced, and have treated Pepper with such gentle kindness. Now we are going to venture out and try the Zen Day Care - where we drop her off at one of the trainer's homes (just for the day) and see how Miss Pepper does! I would definitely recommend Karma if you want gentle but effective training and care for your fur babies!

    Karma Dog Training was the best thing ever to help train our puppy! With previous dogs and going to two previous training businesses, I have had some background working with trainers. ... I am looking forward to more classes with Karma Dog Training, and a long term goal I'm hoping for with Cerys is to train her to be a Therapy Dog. Karma Dog Training helps with this, too, and it makes this the best experience with dog training that I have had.

    We went to Puppy Kindergarten in South Austin with Darci and absolutely LOVED our training! The staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our puppy learned so much from the training and it was great to socialize him with the other puppies as well. The 1:1 time they provide throughout the class is extremely beneficial and was a huge part in our success with our puppy. There is 1 lesson per class which we loved too, and it allows you to go home and practice that for a week with your puppy. Overall, 5 stars here especially to Darci and her staff!
