This review is long overdue. I have seen him over many years whenever I have an issue. It ranges from sprained neck to low energy or sleep issue. Every time I see him, he has helped me. Now I send my bf to him whenever he is in pain. I am glad he practices nearby!

One instance of my experience with him is the time I hadn't seen him in months and I had been suffering an intractable flu. It went into my eyes, sinuses, and eustachian tubes as well as my throat and lungs. As I started to get worse the 5th week into it, it finally occurred to me to make an appointment with Juan Carlos (duh!). The acupuncture treatment and herbs he prescribed made a fairly immediate difference. I was noticeably better the next day and proceeded to heal very rapidly after.
I've had very good experience with a number of issues improving and resolving with Juan Carlos' care.

Juan Carlos helps me on many levels. I came to him with insomnia, fatigue, anxiety and a stress-related skin condition. I get acupuncture and custom herbal formulas from him that have been extremely effective. I value his wisdom; he is more well-versed on the latest research on effective treatments than any other practitioner I've seen, and clearly understands how to discern good from poorly-conducted research. I also took his suggestions about diet, anxiety-reduction and mindfulness strategies so that I could have some control over my symptoms. My sleep is much improved, I have more energy and I finally have control over the anxiety that I've had for many years. How fortunate I am to have met Juan Carlos, he has changed my life. I like many 50+ women suffered through the agony of menopause. I did not want to go the traditional route of hormones etc. instead I discovered Juan Carlos. His approach to your needs are so insightful, he takes the time to listen, he asks questions that really puts you thinking about your body and how you treat it on a daily basis. Any information he gives you is fact based and he encourages you to share with others the information you receive in order to help themselves. In addition to healing me of my menopause symtoms with his amaxing herbs and acupuncture, he taught me the value of good nutrition and how to listen to my own body.
