  As if they need anymore 5 star reviews! I've never used a moving company before but this time I was moving to a 4 floor walk up and decided I should splurge and not torture myself.
  I got estimates from a few other companies - all 5 star reviews - and JP Urban had the best quote hands down - and the only company that offered 4 men for the job.
  They were super easy to communicate with via email. The day before the move they texted me to confirm. The truck and movers were on time and the knocked it out. My 1 br moved from Clinton Hill to East Williamsburg took a little under 4 hours. Nothing broke. They were courteous. Super hard working and strong - carried many heavy record boxes up the flights of stairs. They wrapped my sofa and mattress in plastic. Their dispatcher texted me throughout the move to make sure all was going well.
  The total ended up being very close to the estimate. I would definitely recommend and use them again!!
  Make sure to tip your movers well and have bottled water on hand to give them!

  Thy moved me out of my 5th floor walk up (no elevator) to my new apt a few blocks away and it was fantastic. No issues and really cool guys who didn't complain about the heat or the walk up. I bought them beers and tipped each $20. Highly recommended. I had some expensive stuff and they took excellent care of everything! I was pretty embedded in that apartment, having lived there 13 years. The office also texted me a bunch of times to make sure everything was going well. Love this company! $800 for everything, about 4 hours total, including boxes, wrap, tape, etc.

  We were about to go with another mover when I decided to look up a couple more options on Yelp. We were moving to another apartment in our building and the quotes we received from other movers were in line with much more difficult moves we had on the last. JP not only offered us the best price, but they also assured us the shortest move time.
  
  The move was smooth, quick, and well done. Everyone was extremely courteous and careful with our furniture, and Chris the dispatcher followed up multiple times before, during, and after the move. I'd highly recommend them!

  I've moved quite a few times in my life and I can honestly say this has been one of the best experiences I've had. Not only were the movers themselves professional and thoughtful, but the home office checked in periodically to make sure everything was running smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for fantastic service and quality at a competitive price!

  I've had a lot of moving experiences ranging from horrible to decent, and I would say JP Urban Moving was absolutely top notch from beginning to end. The communication about COIs, promptness, professionalism, care, and follow up afterwards (there were some damages but the company promptly repaired scratches and reimbursed for broken items) - all with positive, polite, and prompt communication. They were one of the highest quotes I saw honestly but in the end I went with the reputation, and the comfort offered by their great insurance options, and thank goodness I did.
