I took my first steps in the art of visual storytelling when I picked up my parent's VHS camcorder as a child and instantly fell in love with the potential it provided to capture and share stories. My love of the camera continued through high school and college, where I studied video production and honed my skills on productions around Pittsburgh. Documentary work taught me to anticipate the stories unfolding around me and to be prepared when the decisive moment arrives. Narrative films taught me the art of crafting cinematic images instead of simply recording the action. This combination of cinematic and documentary styles has become my signature on the videos I produce today, which have garnered multiple awards and been featured on Amazon Prime, The TODAY Show, and in film festivals worldwide.

The highlight video from our June, 2017 wedding is incredible- beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Jeff was very easy to work with, professional and punctual which made the entire process seamless. Getting the raw footage along with the highlight video was a huge bonus as well. I would highly recommend J.S. VideoWorks to others!

Jeff has an refined style, works supremely well with the bridal party/family involved, puts out an amazing product, and is pretty timely (very difficult to do with video editing). He was hit by a car a few weeks before our wedding and still managed to exceed our expectations. I work in the wedding business and there aren't many people more dedicated and talented people than Jeff and his team.

If only I had words that could express the job that Jeff did capturing our Wedding Day on video as well as he did, then this Review would have you experiencing a depth of emotion, and possibly tearing up by the end. Unfortunately, I'm not that talented a writer. Jeff and his assistant were discrete and unobtrusive throughout the day while still managing to record everything that occurred. Not only were the video and editing of superb quality, but all of our interactions have been professional, prompt, and responsive to our needs. After our Wedding, Jeff was hit by a car, and yet still managed to get us a finished product in timely fashion. He was even willing and able to reformat all of the video files for us after the original formatting wasn't compatible with our operating system. Truly, if you are looking for a Videographer who will go above and beyond in order to meet, or more likely surpass, your expectations, then this is your man.

My wife and I couldn't he happier with the quality, professionalism, and overall experience Jeff provided. Being such a crazy day, it's nice to have Jeff's easy-going demeanor. He accomplished his visions without being intrusive. His followup was timely and his product top notch. I couldn't recommend his services enough...you will not be disappointed. My husband and I are beyond happy with our wedding video. We decided on investing in videography close to our wedding date, because we weren't sure it would fit in our budget. We could not be happier with the outcome, our video speaks for itself and truly captures the happiness and energy of the day. Jeff will work to make sure you get the most value out of your video and tailor everything to give you the best end product. We met beforehand to talk about what was important to us on our wedding day and our video was returned to us within 2 weeks of our wedding. We love our video and are so glad we will have this to look back and relive the happiness from the day of our wedding for years to come. Thanks Jeff!
