I had an excellent experience at Hillside. Rene was fantastic and very realistic with me about my new to me GTI and what it will need over its lifetime. They did an install of the diesel geek short shift kit (totally recommend that for anyone with a manual VW/ Audi - makes shifting a dream). Install was done same-day, adjusted appropriately and I could tell they really value their clients and take great care of vehicles. Pricing seems fair as well for the excellent level of service provided. Enthusiasts definitely work there, there are some cool cars around the shop.

I've only been once, but I took my A4 here for a 35,000 mile service. Their quoted price was a couple hundred less than the dealership's. They did great work, finished it on time, and there were no surprise costs.

I live in NE Portland now, and will still only take my Passat here for service, even if it is way across town. Rene stayed way past closing time to help with a check engine light, and didn't charge me for the extra time. I tell all of my friends and coworkers to go to Hillside Imports. It's not often that you find a technician as honest and caring as Rene. Thanks for taking car of my car like your own!

2001 VW Passat - Made an appointment and they had my problem diagnosed in short time which was oil cooler and radiator replacement. They also found the heater core to be plugged with sludge from the oil/water mixing together, replacement didn't fit into my budget on this trip, they went out of their way to flush the system many times to correct the issue without adding labor to the original quote, and my heat blows HOT!! Hillside will be my go to shop from now on!!
