Hillcrest Community Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Hillcrest Community Acupuncture offers community acupuncture treatments on a sliding scale of $25-45 per visit (plus a one-time $10 paperwork fee for the first appointment) because we are committed to making it more affordable and accessible to those who need it. We are excited to be a part of a growing network of acupuncture clinics dedicated to serving our communities by providing high-quality, affordable acupuncture.

Our practice is modeled after modern clinics in China, where they treat in a communal setting. Each person receives an individualized treatment, and many people receive treatments each hour, making it more affordable for everyone. Read more

What an amazing spot you guys have created! From the moment I walked in I felt a sense of calmness. I had booked with Carol Song and she was prompt and ready for me. The two community rooms for clients are clean with beautiful energy. I went at 4 on a monday and it wasn't that busy. I felt I could be honest with the care that I needed and C.S. was so helpful and professional.

I am SO GRATEFUL to have found this place!! For starters, it's an organization who operates by the mission statement handed out during initial paperwork. They follow traditional acupuncture given in community with the understanding that multiple people healing in the same physical space taps into a heightened capacity to heal. The physical space is relaxing and inviting, complete with low lighting, air diffusers, armchairs, blankets and pillows. They also offer sliding scale - starting at $25 per treatment! Since insurance doesn't cover "alternative" medicine, I'm now able to focus more on what my body needs instead of what I can afford. Give them a shot!

Wonderful healing experiences here for a year and a half. First my shoulder I injured when moving, then gastroenterinitis, then shingles, then the onset of upper respiratory infections. The rooms are large with comfortable chairs, soothing colors and music and great privacy arrangements. Love it also that we can book online.

I hesitant to write this review for fear that the word will get out but this place is AMAZING. Oscar has such a pleasant bedside manner. He's patient, thorough, kind and knowledgeable. I've felt instantly better while still in the process of getting acupuncture, and a thousand times better after every treatment that I've had. It's an intimate space and they are thorough with taking your history and finding out what's going on with your body then and treatment to treatment. They take your pulse and educate you so you are informed. The space is lovely-everything from the music, to dim lighting, and essential oils. They've created a relaxing environment. The staff have all been welcoming. A true community feel.

This is truly one of my most favorite places to do any sort of healing. I have learned over the years that acupuncture works tremendously well for me for both physical and emotional issues. The care that I receive every time I go to the clinic is so nurturing and healing. The environment feels like collective healing. One of my most favorite places! The staff is absolutely incredible.
