With two stores, the company built on its reputation for great customer service, the area’s largest selection of bikes and accessories and an expert service center. As the company expanded, so did the staff. Through the years we have been blessed with great employees. Our current group (see Staff Profiles) is the most talented in the region with more than 55 combined years of experience.
In 2012, we combined both stores into our current location (see map). The result has been the best of both worlds, housing all of our support and experience under one roof. The new shop has a large retail space that continues to deliver the best selection of bikes, parts, clothing, nutrition and triathlon accessories. Our service department is fantastic as well — it’s the only certified Shimano Service Center in the area! Our shop is mere 200 yards away from more than 30 miles of outstanding off-road trails and we host weekly rides for both mountain and road. Thanks Higher Ground team for the usual great service. Marcus was very informative and gave me several options to consider. Staff is always patient and I appreciate the time invested in answering my questions. All repairs were completed and my bike felt like new on the trails tonight.

I have been riding for 30 years as an adult for fitness and fun. Many bikes later and I'm sure thousands of miles, I have seen shops come and go. I started doing business with Higherground about 10 years ago and have found them to be the best at service, parts,bike selection and experienced advisors in town. They have the high end equipment without the cycling snobs working there. They bend over backwards to help you when you need it. ...
