  This is very effective speech therapy. They seem to get good results. Our therapist, Kristina is extremely knowledgable and patient. She adapts well to the situation. My son has made amazing progress here despite his dislike for the work improvement demands. Speech seems to be like school work or home work- it takes a lot of work. ---- on another positive note, although we have not seen her for therapy specifically--- when things have come up, Sharon seems very well versed on everything to do with the mouth, muscles, breathing, anything that has come up--- oxygen level, adenoids etc. That has been beneficial.

  My autistic son has been going to Sharon for speech therapy. She is wonderful at what she does, and every session she ends up part counselor, hand holder, and always, a teacher.
  
  In addition to speech, she is one of the few people that has made a strong connection with my son and she is able to translate his emotions - something that is so hard for a parent of a limited speaker. Our sessions always leave me smiling because I learn something new.
  
  I am so grateful for all of the patient work she has done for my son and for my family.

  My son was diagnosed with Autism shortly after turning 2. Before seeing Sharon and her team of brilliant therapists we had been going to a different speech therapist for 6 months. During that 6 month period we saw no progress and our son was not saying anything, frustration set in and we had to get him better help. After a short search for the best speech therapist in Los Angeles we found Sharon and are so glad we did. After 2 months he started saying single words and after 6 months he is now saying 3 word sentences and has a vocabulary of around 50 words. We went from being hopeless to very hopeful that our son would be able to speak and we can't be more happy with the progress he is making and am so glad to of found a therapist that has been so helpful with my sons development. I highly recommend Sharon and her team and don't know what we would have done without her.

  Words will quite simply fall short in trying to describe the effect Sharon had on my child, but I will do my best.
  
  Sharon was recommended to us by our pediatrician after we had several speech therapists with variable levels of expertise producing at best- marginal results.
  
  Sharon Hansel Cohen is absolutely, however, is brilliant!!
  Her remarkable intuitive approach to our child coupled with years of experience and compassion allowed for immediate bonding and produced results nothing short of a miracle!!!!!!
  She goes above and beyond the call of duty and her stellar reputation in the field is more than well deserved.
  Our child is talking, comprehending and integrating into mainstream education and socialization. We only hoped and dreamed of what now is a reality for our child.
  
  In short, 5 stars is but an insult for a professional with such unique skills, amazing talent, and a beautiful soul.
  If your child needs a speech therapist, look no further!
  Meet Sharon and you will be as astonished as we were.

  Sharon and her associates and such an asset to our team. She goes above and beyond with our daughter to work on building in language and speech through different modalities. She is constantly changing things up and moving in a new direction to keep our daughter growing, learning and moving forward. Sharon is open to working with our school, talking to doctors and working with the entire family. She is the BEST!!!
