  Very knowledgeable mechanics with a ton of experience. They completed a warranty repair on my brakes and I didn't buy the brakes or bike from them. Stopped in with a road bike that I knew nothing about, I ride mtb primarily, and they got the thing all adjusted to fit me perfect and gave me all the basics I needed to know on road riding and even did a quick true on the rear wheel while I was standing there and got the wobble out of it. There is a lot of bike shops in Missoula and some of them are great but the guys at Hellgate Cyclery are world class.

  Hellgate Cyclery has the best mechanics in town, who promptly perform work for a reasonable price in a convenient location. They are also personable and have great local knowledge.

  They've rescued me from flat tires more than once. Dropped bike off on my way to work, picked up for the ride home. They're quick, informative, friendly and affordable. Last time I was there, they filled my sadly under inflated tires, gave me the adaptor I needed to pump my tires myself, answered all my questions... for $1. It was a travesty. I would have tipped them if I had more cash on hand. I figured a good review was deserving and the least I could do. Thanks, Hellgate Cyclery!

  Out of all the bike shops I've been to traveling the country, about 7 so far, this one is by far, BY FAR..... The very best. They treated me so good and made sure to take care of every last thing on my bike. They literally went the extra mile and checked and fixed every problem I had without even asking or saying a thing. They just got it done. I'm so grateful for the advice and for the generosity. Thanks guys!

  Without a doubt, this is the best shop I've ever been to. I've done two 2500+ mile tours and been to at least 15 shops in a dozen states but have never had as good of an experience. The crew was incredibly friendly, flexible with my groups needs, and did work that was above and beyond. They will always have my business when in Missoula.
