  Siegfried is great at what he does. I have given him different kinds of pants and shorts to tailor and he has always done a wonderful job. Last time I was there, I took in my suit pants to have them tapered and hemmed for a more modern and fit look. After he finished the measurements, he turned the pants inside out and showed me how the last person who tailored them (when I first bought the suit) totally butchered the insides. It totally made sense to me and I was able to clearly see how the last tailor (I won't name who, but they start with an M and end with house) took many shortcuts.
  
  I always leave in confidence knowing that Siegfried will do an exceptional job and will not use shortcuts. He's a funny guy too with good stories to tell. I won't take my alterations to anyone else.

  ... Siegfried will take as many risks as you can afford or will help you put together a smart, conservative look that will allow you to stand out without being flamboyant.
  
  If you are going to have something custom made then call ahead to make an appointment. He'll have time to prepare for you and make sure he doesn't schedule another client for the same time, then give you his undivided attention and walk you through the process. Don't rush. Take time to feel the swatches and ask about how they perform in the heat, the cold, or whatever exotic locale you're going to that demands you look great. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. The result will be a garment that fits better than anything else you would buy off the rack and will probably last longer than you do.

  I would not go anywhere else for my alterations. Seigfried does amazing things with suit jackets and can alter my pants like nobody else.I am a size 2 and almost all of my clothes need altering. He is also reasonably priced.
  I have also seen quite a few well known celebrities that have their suits and shirts tailored at Hartmanns too.

  I have been wearing suits for the better part of 15 years. In general, I have purchased suites and been fitted etc. However, this experience was a bit different. More measurements were taken and the final product was a perfect fit.
  
  It was a bit strange to see clothes that are not to small or not to big - but, are just sized correctly. This included shirts. As for the suits, the fabric feels better and I expect it to hold up well. I was very pleased with the end product.

  Loved my experience here getting a custom suit from Siegfried. His work is excellent, very nice guy, works quickly and very efficiently. Great selection of materials available to work with and he really knows his stuff. I don't plan on needing another suit for quite some time but when I need another tailored suit I hope Siegfried is still there.
