  Three years ago, I wanted to get into the sport of mountain biking and I didn't know anyone in town who rode. I had attempted to meet some women at one of the local trail heads but I found it to be mostly men and it was very intimidating. However, Harper's Bike Shop never intimidated me. The owner's, Jon and Shawn, are now people that I would call friends and actually suggested that I be an ambassador for other women. I am happy to say the parking lot scene I described 3 years ago likely wouldn't occur today - at least in Knoxville. That is in large part to the dedication from Harper's to make cycling welcoming to all. On top of that, they keep my bike in tip top performance and they truly strive for great customer service. I encourage you to go check them out and don't hesitate to ask them all your questions. They will be glad to answer them.

  I've been in and out of bike shops all over the country, and this is definitely one of the best! This shop focuses on mountain bikes and they really know their stuff.
  
  On my first (and only) visit, I showed up with a broken chain 10 minutes before they closed and they ended up replacing the chain, the chainring and rear cassette. The guys stayed way beyond closing time (and even pulled new parts off assembled bikes) to help out an out of town rider get back up and running so I could enjoy more of their local trails.
  
  I will definitely be back and if they were close to home, I would certainly be a regular.

  These guys are the best! Jeff was amazing at helping me find the perfect bike. On top of that, I appreciate the beautiful unicorn motif they have throughout the shop. I would highly recommend Harpers to anyone. I give them all the gold stars!

  Extraordinary bike shop! I bought my first serious mountain bike from these guys close to a decade ago and they consistently go above and beyond to keep me rolling, which keeps me coming back. The staff is very knowledgeable and always eager to talk shop. Highly recommended for both bike sales and service.

  Great Bike Shop! Awesome bunch of guys! Been buying from there for close to 20 years! They always take great care of me when I need something or service on the bike. Will always be one of my top choices as a bike shop. Also a great bunch to ride with. My skill level went up when I started riding with these guys. Great Bike Shop!!!!!
