Eye exams should involve more than receiving a prescription for a pair of glasses. Our comprehensive exams include an evaluation of all the components of the entire visual system. Our iWellnessExamTM uses Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology to scan the retina. Much like an MRI, this state of the art technology scans the retinal structures with unprecedented clarity, making it possible to view structures not viewable by standard techniques. Your exam could uncover any presence of glaucoma, macular degeneration or any other retinal condition that may be present, making early detection much easier.
We have been told that our exams were “the most thorough exam I’ve ever had.” We take our time with each patient, examining and thoroughly explaining results and management options. No one leaves our office without a complete understanding of his/her visit. Read more

the knowledge and thoughtfulness at this place provided by Dr. Sturm was very impressive in any business. very professional and organized. sometimes It is hard to communicate with know it all doctors/physicians or get them to listen to all your concerns and questions. I couldn't see how anyone would be anything but glad they decided to go here to help them with their vision needs. excellent selection as well. got some nice raybans! THANK YOU

I have been to many eye drs over the last 15 years and I believe I have no reason to go anywhere else now that I have found this one. I have to say, I find the Dr and the reception staff very polite and helpful. I've never had to wait long, my prescription has always been perfect, and any issues I've ever had with the glasses provided, have been resolved without fuss or resistance. I recommend this practice to everyone and I belive several of my family members and friends now use it. Thank you for your professional and courteous service. I'm sure that should either of the reception staff be on their phones when I next go in, a simple excuse me would do the trick :0)

My husband & I are new to Georgetown as of a year now. We are very particular when selecting a doctor. We had our first visit with Dr. Strum yesterday. The office is clean & the staff is pleasant. They do not overbook which is wonderful! Nothing worse than being on time & having to wait. That was not the case here. The staff was well organized. Dr. Strum took time with both my husband & I to ensure our eye health is in order. Looking forward to getting my new glasses. Thank you Dr. Strum! We'll see you next year!!

Smooth appointment from start to finish. I scheduled my appointment a day or two beforehand with no issues. The receptionist on the phone was very friendly and peppy. I filled out a new patient form online prior to my appointment, so I didn't have to fill out any paperwork on the day of my appointment. I showed up on time, was inprocessed, and seen promptly by a tech then Dr. Sturm. The suite is located adjacent to Pearle Vision, so it's a tad tricky to find the Vision Center if you're unfamiliar with the stores.

Dr. Sturm was friendly, professional, and efficient. Overall, I was in and out fairly quickly with a prescription in hand. I'm very happy with the service.
