Fly Wheel

Bike Mechanic

Ian Bagshaw opened Flywheel Bicycle Solutions, LLC in downtown Talent in 2005 to offer "The Evolution of Bicycle Service." From day one our business philosophy has been just that: to elevate the art of bicycle mechanics and service to an entirely new level. From the moment you walk through our doors, our number one priority is your experience as a customer, and the safety, comfort, and efficiency of your ride.

In 2011 Ian relocated his shop from downtown Talent out to Hwy. 99, allowing for a larger selection of bikes, parts, and accessories, as well as an expanded capacity for repairs. A year later Flywheel added a bar complete with local beer on tap, as well as other beverages and minor snacks. With this new addition, Flywheel evolved from a retail and service location to a social hub and community destination. Read more

I was on my way driving from Seattle to Novato, CA to ride in Jens Voigt's Gran Fondo. My Tarmac S-Works Di2 front derailer had some unresolved alignment issues. On my layover in Medford OR I saw that there was a cycle shop nearby, Flywheel Bicycle Solutions in Talent OR. I dropped by the shop and left my bike with my new favorite mechanic, Ian. He went out of his way to resolve a difficult to troubleshoot issue and sent me away a very happy cyclist. Almost hugged him on the way out the door. Yes there is talent in Talent OR.

I know dick about bikes. I own a 10 speed and couldnt even tell who what horrible sweatshop made the deplorable hunk of metal.
But I do drink beer. And these guys not only know more about bike than I will ever be able to in what feeble life of mine that is left, but they know beer too.

... Do yourself a favor and get over there!!
and buy a bile and ride it extra far...that way you are riding for you and me.
    cheers!!!
