We are thrilled with the results of Andre's work! He was clear in his communication, stuck to his estimate, was respectful of our property, and honest throughout the process. He followed up sufficiently -- even giving us some extra stain for an additional piece. I can recommend Exterior Wood Care and Andre without reservation.

Andre has done our deck twice and the results have been fabulous. He recommends what has to be done and what can wait to be done, and offers suggestions to save money. He pressure washed our deck and got a much better result than we have when we have done it ourselves. He was very meticulous in staining the deck and doing a professional job. Our deck looks brand new. We will continue to have Andre care for our deck. You do need to have a flexible schedule because the weather determines when deck work can be done.

Just wanted to write about my encounter with Andre with Exterior Wood Care. I did not hire Andre because he selflessly gave me knowledge on how to save the most money and my concern on timing. I emailed Andre late afternoon Saturday. Found him through online reviews for a deck staining job. He responded fairly soon on the weekend. After I gave him a description of the job itself via email, he did quote me but was upfront about his schedule at this time of the year. He offered an alternative, given a brand new deck, the work itself would not entail much prep and gave me pointers on a quick do it your self avenue that would save me time and avoid waiting with weather changing. I appreciate his honesty and would hire him the next time I need his services.

Andre did an excellent job sanding and re-staining our 500 sq. ft. cedar 2x4 deck in the summer 2014. I was amazed when he showed up alone and did the entire job alone! Andre's work is meticulous; for example he was able to sand under our 150 or so posts along the deck often with barely a 1/4 inch clearance between them and the deck itself. Despite having other jobs going at the same time he finished ours on time. The price was better than some other estimates. The work is just great.

When I decided to refinish my balcony and a large deck this summer I knew who I'd be calling. Andre. He did an outstanding job a few years back and this time too. Needless to say Andre is a topnotch professional with great attention to details. His prices are more than reasonable. What I especially like about him is that he does the job like if it was his house. For example, Andre would point out surfaces which can wait another year or two and thus I could've saved some money had I decided to skip them. Or that carpenters did not do a good job attaching rails and explain what I need to do to fix them. Or educate me on how I could have done all the refinishing myself. Nice but I'll be hiring Andre next time.
